Meet Lindsay
Lindsay Hill writes and illustrates children's books. She loves special outings with her husband and 3 daughters. Lindsay has a M.A. Degree in Arts of Education, Multiple Subject Credential, B.S. Degree in Child Development and is an Elementary Teacher. She received Riverside County Teacher of the Year 2024 Award and ALC Outstanding Contributions to Literacy Award 2023. Her most recent author event was held at the Redlands Barnes and Noble and helped raise money for her school bookfair. She has a passion for art, nature, animals, writing, reading and working with children.
Lindsay writes stories for families to love by including hand-painted watercolor illustrations, rhyming words, charming animals, and silly nature sounds. Her Twilight Expedition aka Catching Twilight series was written to remind readers to slow down and enjoy the simple joys in life.

Maddie
Adventurous big sister explores nature in the whimsical twilight. She takes her sisters on imaginative outings filled with amusing twists & turns.
JuJu
Mischievous middle sister is curious about animals and the outdoors. No hairy spider nor two-headed snake scares her. She's the most daring of all.
Brookie-Cookie
Chubby baby sister is always ready for a snack. She follows her big sisters bringing play and fun along the way.

I love this book! It is beautifully written and illustrated from the heart. The pictures are bright and appealing which keeps the children's attention. As a person who reads a lot of books to children in the school library, it is wonderful to find a book that holds the children's attention in both words and pictures.
In addition, there activities for the children that the author has added, it is a wonderful book for pleasure and learning.

Frog Catching Twilight is a whimsical story that is engaging for children. It is full of beautiful descriptions that complement the playful artwork of the book. As an educator, I really appreciate the activities and questions crafted at the end of the story that makes this book even more engaging for my students.
